We are pleased to announce that the V2 Grid road at Milton Keynes Western Expansion Area was completed on the 23rd August – two weeks ahead of programme. Yesterday 31st August, we had a very successful final inspection which has culminated in excellent feedback from the Highway Authority and Hazeley Academy for whom the new road will provide a safe and easy access for years to come. Head of Business Operations for Hazeley Academy said, “this has been a well-managed, well communicated project, we have felt well informed and well supported. A big THANK YOU to your team”
Another great example of high quality workmanship by our Contractor (Smith Construction Group Limited) and Consultant (Link Engineering) along with great team work by in-house planning and engineering teams, seeing this through over the last 3 years.
The V2 Grid Road is the first grid road constructed by L&Q Estates in Milton Keynes and played host to a multitude of challenging constraints. We are delighted with the outcome.
