Situated just outside of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within the Cotswold district, outline planning was granted at this site in February 2018, just 18 months after contracts were exchanged.
Formally known as the Pillars, the land had previously been used for the sale of garden machinery and as a residential dwelling. L&Q Estates submitted a planning application on the site one month after agreeing contracts with the landowners and obtained consent for 100 new homes in the picturesque market town of Chipping Norton.
Following a competitive tendering process, the land was subsequently sold to Bloor Homes, with the landowners and L&Q Estates sharing in a pre-agreed split of the profits as per the promotion agreement.
Bloor began works on site in 2020 and will be completing the first homes in the early part of 2021.
